Dr. Tatsuya Nakada is a wellknown international law specialist, who has
a track record of working for the government office in Japan and with
extensive international experience.
Last week, he was invited to go and meet with the president of the national
university UNAM in Namibia, who happened to have also visited Kobe
University this year, in order to strengthen bonds between Japan and
Namibia, and between Kobe University and UNAM around common research themes
related to international maritime laws and policies, and especially the
problems of ship wrecks, of which Dr. Nakada is a specialist.
According to both parties, we can expect the two universities to continue
and accelerate their relations on both education and research.
